I recently learned how to make and animated GIF. Though frequently joked about, this digital format is genius.

My first work of the year could not be more special to me: a painting of my favorite little friend (Marcel) for two dear friends (Jenny Slate and Dean Fleischer-Camp) to use as a movie poster at a festival (Sundance) where they are taking their perfect animated short Marcel the Shell with Shoes On.
